Summer Time and the livin' is... easy?

Maybe if you ignore your mile-long "TO DO" List.Chuck it - Yes! - Chuck that Summer Sand Bucket List!My Summer "TO DO" List is starting to resemble my annual "New Year Resolutions."Not a bad time to recycle. The Endless Summer

My TO DO List for SUM-SUM-SUM SUMMER:

  • Do nothing. (Unfortunately, so much harder than it sounds. Like meditation or quitting caffeine.)

  • Catch up on reading. (With Ebooks and the internet, there is now at least fifty times as much to read.)
  • Get off sugar. (Fat chance)
  • Watch Reality TV and consequently feel much better about my own life.*

  • Get a tan. (This will be a challenge since I've been bullied into wearing 95 SPF head to toe daily.)
  • Exercise like there's no yesterday.
  • Go to the beach. As a matter of fact, move to the damn beach.
  • Catch up on emails. See #2.
  • Go to a rock concert or better yet a music festival as long as there's a 5-Star Hotel adjacent to the muddy field. Woodstock was essentially camping with music. Some of us are allergic to camping!
  • Collect a rock.
  • Collect a shell.
  • Lose weight. (Go ahead! Laughter is good for you.)

  • Spend time with two-legged friends.
  • Have a social media intervention for self. Invite everyone to participate via FB, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Teach the cat to sleep through the night.
  • Curtail feline's excessive nocturnal appetite. (See previous)
  • Digitize ancient photo albums. (As a matter of fact, digitize everything. Put it all on a flash drive and wear around my neck. "Memory problems? Not me!")
  • Contemplate the universe, or at least the exploding junk drawer in the kitchen. Mysteries abound.
  • Eat, drink, and be merry. (Auntie Mame had it right: "We need a little Christmas right this very moment...")
  • Forget I said the "C" word.

 * Accomplished. Thank You "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," "The Real Housewives of New York City," and - of course - "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." These shows are hilarious - like Barbie Gone Wild.
